Eilbeck Cranes was asked to design, build and deliver from scratch a 100t x 96m height of lift special purpose hoist in 12 weeks for the huge NorthConnex Project. The first class engineering team lead by the company's stalwart owner Tom Eilbeck did not miss a step, took the order and executed the task in typical Eilbeck fashion - under budget and on time. A feat that most crane companies would only dream of such capacity, for the Eilbeck Cranes Team it was just another walk in the park but most importantly, it was our client that reaped the benefits of a very competent and disciplined 100% Australian supplier committed to making a difference in the outcome of major projects where ever their equipment is used.
Eilbeck's Engineering Team at Ingleburn crane workshop proud of their latest design work.
This particular crane had critical special components flown in from very reputable European suppliers, local Australian suppliers and of course utilised the skills of extremely dedicated local engineering and labor talents.
The hoist itself sports 2 x 250kW drive motors, Heavy duty gearboxes, 4 disc brakes, 2 of which enable the crane being rated for man riding along with nearly a kilometer of wire rope which all combined manage to propel a 50t load in the vertical plane at an amazing 40 m/min. and 100t at 5m/min.
Just goes to show you be careful what you wish for,
because Eilbeck will build it!
