Single bolt installation using up to 1 1/4" diameter bolt.
Available with synthetic pressure block nose or plain nose.
Can be used in conjunction with crane rail pad.
Advantages: Low height welded boss has internal threads. The boss can be welded to the runway steel by the fabricator using standard electrodes and shipped to site where the rest of the clip is assembled over it.
The clip body and cam can be hot dipped galvanised with no reduction in lateral resistance rating. This is because the clip performs as a bearing connection.
Installation: Weld the boss to the runway steel. Position the clip body over the boss and against the rail. Position the cam in the body and place the bolt through the eccentric hole and thread into the boss. Rotate the cam to align the rail. Torque the bolt as required.
