On Tuesday 7th of August Eilbeck Cranes achieved another milestone in the delivery and commissioning of the Sydney Metro 2 project, a successful load test of the massive 280 tonne full portal gantry crane.
This crane has been designed and manufactured for the specific purpose of assembling the first of many TBM’s (Tunnel boring machines) for SM2.
Eilbeck completed a very successful load test on Tuesday once again with a team of dedicated local technicians ensuring the smoothest quickest operation for our client.
The crane comes complete with the latest in inverter and Programmable Logic controller (PLC) technology, design and serviced locally by our Sydney Engineering department.
Our engineers are capable of viewing the cranes live running and operating information ensuring Eilbeck is able to provide the best service available.
