Melbourne Metro Tunnel Segment Yard Cranes

Eilbeck Cranes has delivered cranes for the Precast yard in Deer Park – Segment Factory Ravenhall, Victoria. This segment yard factory will support the construction of the Melbourne Metro Tunnels.

2 full portal cranes (external) and a bridge crane (internal) will do all the heavy lifting in the factory. The portal cranes have hoisting speed of 8-10m/min, hoist cross travel speed of 20m/min and long travel speed of 50m/min.

Eilbeck Cranes is more than well equiped and ready to take on such projects with ease, due to expanding manufacturing capabilities (recent opening of another modern manufacturing facility in Melbourne) and the ability to handle most complex and demanding machining tasks in their Sydney's Heavy Machining Centre and the specialised Hoist Production Facility.
