Newport Rail Facility – Loco Crane Replacements

Eilbeck Cranes has commissioned two double girder cranes 75/20 t each at Downer EDI Rail Newport Rail Facility at Champion Road Vic Heavy Loco Shop. The new crane 75/20t replaced aging 1960 cranes with high end state of the art, Abus Cranes German technology, with True Vertical Lift (TVL) synonymous with rail shops, four speed lifting, VSD long travel and true synchronized tandem lift with data link through AbuRemotes.
